The AKDN Digital Health Programme leverages the power of ICTs to provide underprivileged populations in remote, rural areas with access to specialist health care services. Active since 2007, the Programme connects service-receiving facilities, spoke sites, where patients are present, with service-offering facilities, where health care providers are present.
