Continuing its commitment to building capacity of health care professionals, AKDN eHRC offered a week-long workshop in Karachi for eHealth coordinators from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan.

PAKISTAN
Participants were trained in three main areas: effective communications; Cisco® IT Essentials training; and monitoring and evaluation of eHealth activities. Coordinators also participated in presentation sessions and hands-on activities that were designed to enable them to effectively implement AKDN eHealth activities in the region.
The workshop was held in February 2015 at the Pearl Continental Hotel and was attended by over 10 participants. It follows a similar workshop held in March 2014. AKDN eHRC plans to conduct further workshops in the future.
